BOST Offers Keitai Shoujo Anime Online for Free

BOST Digital Entertainment has begun streaming the first episode of the Keitai Shoujo school romance anime series to North America, Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea, and the United Kingdom for free today. BOST will stream a new episode every Monday for six weeks, and the series will remain free until February 2008. Keitai Shoujo is BOST's first anime release for North America and the United Kingdom. BOST encourages potential users in other countries to express their desire for more anime with its Feedback Form, so it can strengthen its case for wider distribution to the licensors.
The first episode of Keitai Shoujo centers on Ichiru, a childhood friend of the protagonist Hiro. She is one of five girls from which Hiro must choose—viewers can decide which girl they prefer in an online poll. When the series was first released in Japan, a similar viewer poll determined which girl would be featured in the sixth and final episode. BOST is also planning to use its viewer polls to decide which ending to show.
