posted on by Egan Loo
The January issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine is revealing on Thursday that an anime adaptation of Tomihiko Morimi's Yojō-Han Shinwa Taikei novels has been green-lit for an April premiere on Fuji TV's popular late-night Noitamina timeslot. Masaaki Yuasa (Kaiba, Mind Game, Kemonozume) will direct the overall series, while Makoto Ueda (Summer Time Machine Blues, Fujiko F. Fujio's Parallel Space) will write and supervise the series' scripts. Madhouse is producing the anime with character designs originally created by Yūsuke Nakamura.
The 2005 novel follows a nameless protagonist who is a third-year college student. The protagnoist looks back at the earlier years of his college life and his adventures with various circles (clubs).
