ICE Film with AKB48 Cast to Be Screened at Anime Expo

The film distributor Eleven Arts and the Japan Film Society will screen the theatrical version of the ICE video anime series at Anime Expo on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Yūko Ōshima, Erena Ono, Tomomi Kasai, and Natsuki Satō of the female idol group AKB48 voiced roles in this anime. (The four are among the members of AKB48 who are appearing at Anime Expo to perform a live concert.) After screening in film festivals in Tokyo, San Paulo, and Chicago, the ICE movie opened in Japan in 2008. Makoto Kobayashi (6 Angels, Dragon's Heaven) directed this work from PPM animation studio.discuss this in the forum (6 posts) |
