Netflix Streaming Services Launches in Canada

The Internet streaming and mail-in video rental service Netflix launched a Canadian version of its streaming service on Wednesday. This marks the first time the service has been offered outside of the U.S. Canada already has a selection available which includes anime such as Ghost Hound, Gilgamesh, Golgo 13, Paprika, and Queen's Blade. The service will cost C$7.99 a month and can be accessed through a Windows or Mac OS X computer, Apple iOS devices, certain Blu-ray Disc players and televisions, the Nintendo Wii console, and the Sony PlayStation 3 console. The ability to use Netflix through Microsoft's Xbox 360 will be available later this Fall.
