The Kadokawa Anime Channel on YouTube began streaming the 115-second final trailer for the Gekijō-ban Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid film on Monday. The project serves as a continuation of the two Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Property) anime series, which adapted Suu Minazuki's fantasy comedy manga of the same name.
Kadokawa Pictures continues to describes the film tongue-in-cheek as the "this summer's #1 date movie for 'ria-jū.'" "Ria-jū" is a recent slang term for people who enjoy real life, as opposed to otaku. Director Hisashi Saito, series script supervisor Yuuko Kakihara, and character designer Yoshihiro Watanabe are returning from the two television series to work on the film. The film, which will introduce a new Angeloid character, will open in Japan on Saturday, June 25.
The promoters are holding a "special repeater campaign" to encourage people to watch the film multiple times. A person can send in three ticket stubs for a chance to win one of 10 recording scripts signed by the main cast. In addition, people who buy at least 1,000 yen (about US$12) worth of items at participating Animate chain stores can show a Sora no Otoshimono ticket stub to receive an exclusive clear file with six heroines from this movie, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, and Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi. The program pamphlet for the film will be sold at theaters with two cards from the Chaos trading card game bundled.
