Sacred Star of Milos screening at BFI Southbank with director and Studio Bones co-founder.

There will be a screening of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos on Friday June 8 at London's BFI Southbank Centre, near Waterloo station. The screening will be attended by the film's director, Kazuya Murata, who also has credits on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Eureka 7; and also by Masahiko Minami, the co-founder of Studio Bones. The guests will give a Q&A after the screening. The event (not yet listed on the BFI site) is presented by Manga Entertainment, the BFI and Aniplex.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos is a spinoff from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The film relates a previously untold adventure of the Elric brothers as they become involved with a rebellion in a distant valley.

The announcement was made during a 107-minute podcast which can be downloaded from the Manga UK blog. Other points made in the podcast can be found in the story here.
