1.5 Million Naruto Movie-Goers to Get Motion Comic DVD

The producers of Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie are spending about 100 million yen (about US$1.25 million) to give the first 1.5 million movie-goers a 34-minute motion comic DVD, as well as a Naruto Special Card from the Miracle Battle Carddass game. According to the producers, this is the first bonus DVD offered to audience members of a film.
For the first two months (or while supplies last) after the film opens on July 28, attendees will receive the DVD. It will have a long interview with manga creator Masashi Kishimoto about his concepts and plans for the manga, a motion comic created by compositing computer graphics with the original manga art, and other material.
