Idea Factory, Nippon Ichi Start New Game Company

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

Idea Factory and Nippon Ichi Software announced on Monday that they have established a new company called Preapp. Former NIS America (NISA) president Haru Akenaga will act as the company's representative director.

Akenaga had stepped down as the president of NISA in June after establishing the company in December 2003. The announcement of Akenaga leaving NISA said at the time that he would be exploring other opportunities in Japan.

The new company hopes to use Akenaga's experience in localizing and selling games in North America and Europe to create business chances in foreign markets.
