TBS Station Receives E-Mail From Alleged Remote-Control Virus Maker

The television station TBS revealed on Monday that it had received an October 10 email from a person who claimed to be the "real criminal" behind the virus that enabled massacre threats to be sent from other people's computers.
Anime technical director Masaki Kitamura had been arrested for an alleged threat against Osaka's otaku shopping district "Otaroad," while a man in Mie was arrested for a bomb threat against Japan Airlines. Both have since been released after the police determined that a virus may have led to the threats being sent from their computers.
