Variety: French Actress Juliette Binoche in Godzilla Talks

The entertainment news source Variety reports that French actress Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Chocolat, Cosmopolis) is in talks with Legendary Pictures for a role in the upcoming Godzilla film remake. Binoche would join confirmed actress Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Oldboy). Other stars in reported talks include Aaron-Taylor Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Argo).

Legendary Pictures is currently involved in an ongoing lawsuit with the film's former producers Dan Lin, Roy Lee, and Doug Davison. The film is still scheduled to open on May 16, 2014.
