Kitacon Confirms 2014 Event

The above trailer announces that the UK convention Kitacon will return in Spring 2014, having taken a break this year. Renamed Kitacon Invasion, the next event will return to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole from March 28 to 30 2014.

You can look forward to a full range of activities, including our spectacular programme of parties, live acts, exclusive screenings and panels. Alongside classics, such as "Build-A-Mech", "Kita's Got Talent?" and our late nighters, we will be introducing some fantastic new events, covering gaming, live-action fandom and even LARPing!The convention, KITACON: INVASION, will take place from Friday 28th March to Sunday 30th March 2014 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole NEC, with special room and hospitality rates available to our attendees, details of which will be announced closer to the opening of registration.
Kitacon: Invasion will also provide the dramatic conlusion to the FATE web series, which will be broadcast through 2013, along with "The Kitacon Preview Show", on our YouTube channel, "Kitacon: Invasion Station". The web shows will screen over the 12 month run-up to the convention bringing an episode every month via their YouTube Channel @ KitaconTV. The first episode will be released online at the end of April.
