XSEED to release fighting game on Nintendo e-Shop on November 14

XSEED Games began streaming a trailer on Friday for its upcoming release of the Senran Kagura Burst Nintendo 3DS fighting game. The company also announced on Friday that the game will be available in the Nintendo e-Shop in North America on November 14 for US$29.99. The trailer focuses on the students at the Hanzo Academy: Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyū, and Hibari. XSEED has also opened an English website for the game.

Marvelous AQL and Tamsoft released the "enormous breasts hyper battle" game with female ninja on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on August 30.

The game takes place at an academy that secretly trains female students how to be a ninja. The game consists of two storylines: in Skirting Shadows players can control five primary female characters from the Hanzo Academy, and in Crimson Girls players can control five female characters from the rival Hebijo Academy.

XSEED Games will release the game with Japanese voiceover and English subtitles. The ESRB has rated the game as T for Teen, and XSEED Games has noted that the game will not be censored.

The franchise inspired a television anime series earlier this year that Funimation streamed as it aired. Marvelous Entertainment released the original Senran Kagura video game in September 2011 on the Nintendo 3DS, and a Senran Kagura: Skirting Shadows manga adaptation has been serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine since October 2011 that Seven Seas Entertainment premiered in North America this week.
