MVM releases first half of comedy series; Manga Entertainment releases fourth One Piece collection.

MVM has confirmed to ANN that schedule changes have meant that this week's MVM release is Arakawa Under the Bridge, while Shangri-La will be released next week (November 18).

On Monday November 4, MVM will release Arakawa Under the Bridge, with subtitles only. Originally broadcast in 2009, the TV anime is adapted from Hikaru Nakamura's gag comedy manga. An upper-class young man named Ko "Riku" Ichinomiya meets a beautiful homeless girl named Nino from the banks of Arakawa River, where many of Tokyo's most unusual residents live. There was also a live-action TV and film adaptation of the manga. MVM has acquired the anime sequel, Arakawa under the Bridge × Bridge.

Manga Entertainment will release the fourth collection of One Piece, containing episodes 79 to 103 of the series.
