One-volume manga also available in print from Vertical

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will add Moyoco Anno's (Hataraki Man, Sugar Sugar Rune, Happy Mania) Insufficient Direction (Kantoku Fuyuki Todoki) to its online manga catalog. The manga will be available worldwide starting on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. PDT.

Anno's one-volume Insufficient Direction autobiographical essay manga centers on Anno's married life with her husband, director Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion). The comedic and heartwarming book follows their "otaku lifestyle" and also features an "otaku glossary" with 20,000 words. Anno launched the series in Shodensha's Feel Young magazine in 2002 and Shodensha published the compiled volume in 2005.

Vertical released the volume in print in February for North America.

An anime adaptation starring Kouichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara premiered this month. The series will be 13 3-minute Flash-animated shorts that will run from April to June on TV Tokyo.
