Shizuka Ishigami Joins RIN-NE 2 Anime's Cast as Renge Shima

The official website of the RIN-NE 2 television anime series announced on Tuesday that Shizuka Ishigami will play the character Renge Shima in the anime. The character will debut in the show's 38th episode "Nazo no Tenkōsei" (The Mysterious Transfer Student) on July 2.
RIN-NE 2 is the second anime series based on Rumiko Takahashi's RIN-NE (Kyōkai no Rinne) manga. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the second season, and the anime is currently streaming on The Anime Network and Crunchyroll. The anime premiered in Japan on April 9.
The rock band CreepHyp is performing "Ainii," the new opening theme song, while Shiggy Jr. is performing the new ending theme song "Beautiful Life." Both theme songs will also debut in the show's 38th episode.
The first television anime series premiered in April 2015 on the public broadcaster NHK's E-Tele channel. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for release in North America.
