This year's 48th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump announced on Thursday that Hikaru Nakamura (Saint Young Men, Arakawa Under the Bridge) will begin a new manga series titled Black Night Parade in the next issue on November 2. The magazine teases a story about accepting an offer from a dark Santa to join an exploitative corporation.

The manga will be Nakamura's first new manga series in 10 years, and her first series with Shueisha.
Nakamura is currently drawing the Saint Young Man manga series which started in 2006. The story follows the everyday lives of Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha, who are roommates living in an apartment in Tokyo. A 2-volume original anime DVD project produced by A-1 Pictures shipped on December 3, 2012 and August 23, 2013, and the manga also inspired an animated film on May 10, 2013.
Nakamura's previous work includes Arakawa Under the Bridge, which ran from December 2004 to July 2015. The manga series has spanned 14 volumes and inspired two television anime series, a live-action television series, and a live-action film.
