Elex Media Licenses Unubore Heart's Cry, Psyche Mata Shite mo Manga

1st volume for both series slated for January 11

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Thursday that it has licensed Ayuko's Unubore Heart's Cry (The Pretentious Heart's Cry) and Tsubasa Fukuchi's Psyche Mata Shite mo (Once Again, A Psyche) manga. The company will ship the first volume of both series on January 11.

Unubore Heart's Cry centers on Yuri, a cute high school girl who, despite having supreme confidence in how she has shaped herself and in her romantic techniques, has nevertheless constantly failed to get a boyfriend. Now she has her eyes set on Ayakura from the kendo club, whom she has judged to be a perfect boy for her. For him, she gets the perfect figure, and studies various topics to be interesting, but Ayakura just ignores her.

Ayuko launched the manga in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine in March 2014, and ended it in October of the same year. Shueisha published two compiled book volumes for the manga.

Psyche Mata Shite mo revolves around Saike (pronounced the same as "Psyche"), a male middle school student without dreams or motivation. Within his normal everyday life, the only one who dotes on him is his female childhood friend, Mikan. However, one day, after seeing Mikan in extreme danger, he gains psychic powers that surpass human knowledge.

Fukuchi launched the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in July 2014. Shogakukan published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on September 16.

Weekly Shonen Sunday serialized Fukuchi's The Law of Ueki manga from 2001 to 2004 and the sequel The Law of Ueki + from 2005 to 2007. The series inspired a television anime series in 2005.

Fukuchi launched the ping pong manga series Takkoku!!! in Shogakukan's monthly Shōnen Sunday Super Zōkan spinoff magazine in 2009. Takkoku!!! ended in 2011, and Fukuchi began Anagle Mole a few months later, ending it in January 2014. Elex Media published all five volumes of Anagle Mole in Indonesia.
