Director Q&A at A Silent Voice Glasgow Screening

Naoko Yamada at Thursday February 23 screening at Glasgow Film Theatre; also more venues confirmed

Director Naoko Yamada will attend a screening of her new Kyoto Animation film A Silent Voice at the Glasgow Film Festival on Thursday February 23 at 5.45 p.m. Following the screening, Yamada (who also directed K-ON! and Tamako Market) will take part in a Q&A with Jonathan Clements. The screening will be at the Glasgow Film Theatre and can be booked at this link.

The film is also having screenings at several venues from February as part of the Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme. So far, there are tickets available at screenings at ICA (February 5, 2.40 p.m.), Showroom Cinema, Sheffield (February 11, 3.15 p.m.), QUAD, Derby (February 12, 5 p.m.) and Watershed, Bristol (February 13, 5.20 p.m.),

Tickets have not yet been released for the film's upcoming screenings at the Macrobert Arts Centre (University of Stirling) on February 19 at 7.30 p.m., HOME in Manchester on February 26, Dundee Contemporary Arts on February 26 at 6 p.m. , Exeter Phoenix on March 1, Phoenix in Leicester on March 4, and Queens Film Theatre in Belfast on March 26.
