Video game news website Famitsu revealed on Tuesday that Summer Lesson: Alison Snow a new installment in the Summer Lesson virtual reality game series, will launch digitally in Japan for June 22. Famitsu magazine will reveal more information on Thursday.

The new Summer Lesson will feature the blonde, English speaking girl who was revealed in a 2015 demo trailer (below). The character's name is Alison Snow and the original demo and new screenshots both show her on the porch of a Japanese-style house.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released the original Summer Lesson game on October 13 in Japan to coincide with the release of the PlayStation VR. The game won a special award in the PlayStation VR category of the PlayStation Awards 2016 in December. Before its release, the project was used as a demonstration of the PlayStation VR.

The game allows players to interact with a Japanese girl named Hikari Miyamoto. Bandai Namco Entertainment released an add-on pack for the game in December titled Summer Lesson: Miyamoto Hikari Second Feel that added six outfits for Hikari and situations in which players "feel they are actually touching the character in front of them."
