Soul Calibur VI Fighting Game Reveals Taki With Video

Game ships for PS4, Xbox One, PC in 2018

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Taki is returning as a playable character in Soul Calibur VI. The company streamed an introduction video.

The game will ship for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in 2018 in Japan, Europe, and North America. Previously revealed characters include Mitsurugi, Sophitia, Grøh, Nightmare, Xianghua, Kilik, Ivy, Zasalamel, Siegfried, and The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia.

The Soul Calibur series began with the Soul Blade game in 1995. The 3D fighter features characters who all utilize weapons in combat.

The previous main installment in the series, Soul Calibur V, shipped for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.
