Toon Radio LLC (www.toonradio.net) has acquired the broadcast rights to the syndicated anime radio program Anime in the Limelight for its Internet broadcast.
Produced by Limelight Media, Anime in the Limelight (or AitL) is a 30 to 60 minute Japanese Animation (or Anime) music / Japanese pop culture show that has been on the air since 1997. AitL features uncut Anime music tracks by the original artists in Japanese language, with English introductions, background histories, news, and Japanese Pop Culture information. AitL has also aired on the Internet since 1997, and is America's #1 rated streaming media Anime themed Internet Radio Show. Anime in the Limelight currently airs on KUMU AM 1500 (AniMe 1500) and on Fresno California Webcaster Japan-a-Radio (www.japanaradio.com).
AitL's current listener base represents the Money Demographic, being prime consumers of: fast food, specialty and soft drinks, consumer electronics and computer equipment, print & recorded media, and memorabilia. By adding AitL to its lineup, Toon Radio LLC plans to enhance its listenership within this demographic, increasing the market potential for its sponsors.
