BURBANK, CA (January 7, 2004) - It's a super-hero-charged January on Kids WB To celebrate the return of high voltage superhero, Static Shock, and the series debut of atomic-powered robot, Astro Boy, kids will have a chance to win one of 10 Apple iPods during the "Kids WB All-Star Saturday Sweepstakes." To be eligible to win, viewers will need to tune into Kids WB on Saturday, January 17 to watch the debut of animé-adventure Astro Boy (8:30 a.m. ET) and the fourth season premiere of high-adventure Static Shock (11:30 a.m. ET). Kids can then enter by logging onto www.Kids WB.com or by sending in a postcard.
Leading up to the "Kids WB All-Star Saturday Sweepstakes," from Monday, January 12 - Friday, January 16 (3:30 p.m. ET), kids will be treated with a week of special Static Shock guest-stars during "Static Shock's All-Star Week" culminating with Saturday's electrifying fourth season premiere. This exciting week is filled with episodes featuring some of kids' favorite Static Shock guest-stars, including Batman, Robin, The Joker, Lil' Romeo and the Justice League.
On Saturday, January 31, (8:00 a.m. ET - 12:00 noon) kids are invited to join the real Jackie Chan in celebrating the Chinese New Year during the third annual "Jackie's Chantastic Chinese New Year." This year, Jackie will be helping in Uncle's shop...dishing out chants, chi spells, and fortune cookies as Jackie and the J-Team celebrate the year of the Monkey!
Kids won't want to miss the morning of Saturday, January 10 during the "Kids WB Ice Block Bash." The wacky winter morning will be highlighted by one-hour blocks of Kids WB hits Jackie Chan Adventures, Teen Titans, Pokémon - Advanced, and Yu-Gi-Oh!: Enter the Shadow Realm.
