Anime in the Limelight Returns

Anime in the Limelight Returns on KORL AM 690, Honolulu, Hawaii, Sept. 18, 2004

Honolulu, HI – Limelight Media announces today that long running Japanese animation music program Anime in the Limelight (AitL) will resume broadcasting September 18, from 6 to 7 pm, HST, on KORL AM 690, hosted by the Legendary Anime DJ Max. This will be a live broadcast, a first for the show, which previously relied on pre-recorded episodes. The show will also be available on Oceanic digital channel 882, KORL cable feed, and on our website, www.limepub.com/radio.html, after the broadcast.

“Our thanks and gratitude to our many listeners and friends who rallied to help return Anime in the Limelight to the air in its darkest hour. Our new grand sponsor Kawaii Kon (www.kawaii-kon.org/) has enabled us to expand our offering, which already includes a classic past episode on our web site each week, in addition to our new KORL episodes,” said William “Doc” Grant Jr., Limelight Media Sales VP.

“Once able, we will add an archive block of 10 more past shows each month our listeners may access for a small fee, to help us with our ASCAP fees and some basic operational costs. We hope in the future to expand to 2-3 hours of programming as well as launch a video version in syndication.”

“Anime in the Limelight is very grateful for all the goodwill and support we received from Scott Richardson of Kawaii Kon, Joanne Ninomiya of JN Productions, Inc., Chance Gusukuma of GenerationKikaida.com, Hiroyo of ARTFX Kotobukiya, Chuck White of Little Guy Advertising, Aaron Yamasato, Paul Booth and Anderson Le of Blood of the Samurai and Ninja EX, Kokoro OnLine and the Japanese Animation Society of Hawaii. We are stronger, leaner and ready to open new horizons on AitL's belated seventh birthday”.
