Konami Digital Entertainment Helps to Deliver the BEst Four Days in Gaming at Gen Con Indianapolis

El Segundo, CA (August 3, 2011) – Duelists, get ready to play! Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (Konami), the maker of the best-selling Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), is coming to Gen Con with a full house of awesome activities to satiate the enormous crowds attending the four-day show August 4th – 7th including Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG competitions, game demonstrations and even a sneak peek of the upcoming Generation Force booster set!

At the Konami booth (#701) Gen Con Indy attendees will have a blast creating their own souvenir – a one-of-a-kind Yu-Gi-Oh! Token Card. They can choose from seven different card backgrounds with characters, including favorites like Yusei Fudo and Yugi Muto, to create their own personalized Token Card – suitable for use during Duels! For those not familiar with the ‘how tos’ of the game, experts will be available to give hands-on demonstrations and, for players wanting a few tips to raise their game up a notch, they have a chance to “Duel the Master” throughout the show. Always a hit with the crowd is the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's DUEL TERMINAL arcade-style machine that plays and teaches the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, and dispenses cards to players.

Also at the booth, show attendees can learn to play the recently released SUPERHEAT Skateboard Trading Card Game, a revolutionary new trading card game designed by skaters which features more than 30 of the top professional riders in street and vert.

Attendees won't want to leave the show without new cards for their Decks so they can purchase Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG products at Gen Con, including the exciting new Starter Deck: Dawn of the Xyz!

For the avid Duelist or players looking for a more formal gameplay experience, Konami will host many opportunities throughout the four-day show to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG in Hall K. From the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series new season opener and Pegasus Challenge to Dragon Duel and Win-a-Mat events, there is a tournament to satisfy players at all levels.
