Project to Kickstart a Tezuka Exhibition in France

Paris - May 7th, 2013 - The Tokiw'Asso association - a French association for the promotion of japanese culture in France and in Europe, named after the famous house where Osamu Tezuka (and several famous mangaka with him, among them Shōtarō Ishinomori) lived between 1953 and 1955 - is behind a project to organize a Tezuka exhibition in La Maison de la Culture du Japon à Paris (MCJP - House of Japanese Culture in Paris, http://mcjp.fr/).

Will be on display several original pieces, lended by Tezuka Production. Among these :
- econte
- manga boards
- cellulos
- first edition mangas
- Personal potographies
- etc.

This exhibition will be itinerant; it debute at the MCJP in 2014 and will end at Annecy, during the International Animation Festival.

The Tokiw'Asso association has created a Ulule project (French kickstarter) to ask fans to help covers the costs of transporation from Japan of the pieces and the costs of diffusion. They need a minimuml of 25 000 euro. The call for financing will end on June the 21st, 2013.
