"We can label ourselves anything we want, but it is our actions that will be louder than any spoken word. What started as a charity event that couldn't fill a living room is blossoming into an experience that now has the option of imposing attendance caps. We have gone from reaching out solely through a computer screen to taking our brand of fandom to the streets, visiting schools, community events, & other like-minded festivals & conventions. But in order to continue to grow, we must take calculated risks that yield high rewards as nothing ventured is nothing gained. That is why we are once again honored to have you all join us on a fusion festival/convention journey that will culminate with a ground-breaking season we will all learn to love as TAKII 18 ~Brand New World~!"

The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational is proud to announce its next stop on the TAKII World Tour for the year known by no other name than Cosplay Battle Royale ~Super Bowl 2~! A sure-fire fusion festival classic, Cosplay Battle Royale ~Super Bowl 2~ comes to you from Naylor's Run Park in Upper Darby, PA on July 26th, 2014 (going from 2:00pm - 8:00pm EST). It will feature your favorite Team TAKII members combined with the ever-passionate TAKII Family, in all of their collective costumed glory, as we enjoy delicious picnic-y delicasies while taking part in Asian festival/convention fandom's ONLY costumed game of football in existance."

"At the conclusion of TAKII 17 ~Densetsu~, we polled you, our TAKII Family, to determine which kinds of festivities you enjoyed the most. And as a result of that feedback, we have created a new stop on our TAKII World Tour known as Makenai X-Posé! A blend of "Makenai: Fusion Charity Benefit Concert" & "X-Treme X-Posé" panels, Makenai X-Posé takes place on August 16th, 2014 (6:00pm - 10:00pm EST) from 1 of TAKII's newest venue partners, Studio 34 (located at 4522 Baltimore Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19143, which is 8-10 blocks from The Rotunda). Co-hosted by TAKII Founder, D-chan, & TAKII 17's hostess, Anastasia Oxnuttz, it promises to be a buffet of sights & sounds for all fans of Asian culture fandom. Sharing with us their talents for the special premiere of Makenai X-Posé will be "Returning Legends" Lady Ai (J-Rock/J-Pop vocalist) & the Manly Battleships (convention panelists extraordinaire).
