Pony Canyon Presents Cutie Honey Universe – Special Panel with Go Nagai at Anime Expo 2018

TOKYO, JAPAN – June 26, 2018 – Audio-visual entertainment company PONY CANYON is pleased to announce the event【 CUTIE HONEY UNIVERSE – Special Panel with Go Nagai 】scheduled on Saturday (7/7) at Anime Expo 2018 (Los Angeles, CA) between 12:00pm – 1:00pm in Live Programming 2 (LP2) / JW Marriott Platinum, Ballroom. Gō Nagai will appear in the event and perform Live Drawing. One episode of the anime series also will be screened. Schedule of his autograph sessions will be announced shortly.

【Story】
Discovering that Honey is working with investigators who want to bring down Panther Claw, Sister Jill goes undercover as an agent named “June.” In this original story, Agent June convinces Honey that she is on her side, while in fact, working to bring down Honey from the inside. Pure, compassionate Honey continues to believe in and fight for humans. Agent Jill, who believes in no one, turns Honey's goodness against her. It's a battle between an android who believes and a human with no faith at all.

Born in 1945 in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Made his professional debut in 1967 with “Meakashi Polikichi” followed by mega-hits “Harenchi Gakuin” “Mazinger Z” “Devilman” and “Cutie Honey.” His works have won international acclaim with global popularity and have recently been adapted to live action film.
