Anirevo to Host Anisong Artist Asaka's First Guest Appearance in Canada

May 16, 2019, Vancouver, BC – Anirevo kicks off their roster of highly anticipated guests with rising Japanese anisong artist, Asaka.

Asaka will come to Vancouver for her first-ever convention appearance in Canada. She will be performing many of her anisong hits and original songs in a special concert performance on the Anirevo main stage.

Born as Asaka Noji in 1999 in Nagoya, Japan, Asaka debuted as an artist with her first single, “Open your eyes”, the ending theme for Occultic;Nine, in 2016. Since then, she has gone on to release more anisongs like “SHINY DAYS” (Laid-Back Camp), “Eternal Star” (Island), “Edelweiss” (A Centaur's Life), and “Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo” (YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world.). She has also recently released her first mini album, “19BOX” earlier this year. Asaka appeared at the substage of Animelo Summer Live, Japan's largest anime song festival, in 2017, and then made a main stage appearance in 2018.

Anime Revolution (Anirevo) is an annual convention held in Vancouver, Canada. Aiming to spread passion and appreciation for anime and Japanese pop culture, Anirevo brings together the best in anime, cosplay, manga, film, exhibitors, artists, panellists, and more to create lasting memories and exciting experiences for the community. This year's summer convention will be held on August 9-11, 2019 at the Vancouver Convention Centre (West Building).
