Tokyo, Japan (Monday, December 1 2025): TV Asahi is excited to reveal new details for the upcoming award-winning The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie ahead of the film's upcoming 2026 international release.

The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie main key visual features Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada backdropped by stunning cherry blossom trees in full bloom, while highlighting their awkward yet strong bonding relationship.

Furthermore, the full trailer is now available featuring Kyotaro and Anna as well as Kana Ichikawa (Kyotaro's sister) in her band scene set to “GOES ON,” a track by Kana's band Primary COLOR!

The theme song titled “Madder” will be performed by yorushika, returning after performing the TV anime series season 1 opening theme song. n-buna from yorushika shared a comment about the announcement with fans:

I have always loved Wakana-shū, a poetry collection by Toson Shimazaki, and used to read it a lot. Among the poems, there is one titled Shiru ya Kimi (“Do You Know”), which directly inspired me when writing the song "Madder."

For me, The Dangers in My Heart has carried this image of dusk. Perhaps it has something to do with the way Kyotaro and Anna relate and bond with each other. Maybe it's my own intuition that the nostalgia we carry for our school days — that intense, irreplaceable emotion — takes on a vivid, red-hued glow, much like the sky at dusk.

I hope "Madder" and previously "Setting Sun", the first opening theme song, will continue to color and enrich the world of The Dangers in My Heart.

The film is slated for theatrical release in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, Chile, Peru, additional Central American countries, and more. Details regarding ticket sales, release dates, and further territories will be shared later. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on February 13, 2026.
