The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie Releases New Stills Featuring Primary COLOR & New Character Visuals
Tokyo, Japan (Thursday, January 8, 2025): TV Asahi is excited to reveal additional new details featuring Primary COLOR for the upcoming The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie ahead of the film's upcoming 2026 international release!
New stills and character visuals for the members of Primary COLOR, the band featuring Kana Ichikawa (Kyotaro's sister), were revealed for the first time! Furthermore, Akira Momoyama, the drummer in the band, will be voiced by Momoka Terasawa.
Here are the introductions to the band members:
Kana Ichikawa (voiced by Yukari Tamura)
Kyotaro Ichikawa's older sister, also known as “Onee.” She is a college student and the vocalist and guitarist of Primary COLOR. She cares about Kyotaro, but also keeps a watchful eye on Yamada!
Akira Momoyama (voiced by Momoka Terasawa)
The drummer of Primary COLOR! She is known for her black twin-tail hairstyle and “dark-cute” fashion style.

Momoka Terasawa shared a comment with fans:
When I first heard the news that I would be involved with The Dangers in My Heart, I was absolutely thrilled!
In the anime, Momo-chan makes her first appearance in the movie. She's very much a “sweet and soft” type and a bit of an intense, “dark-cute” girl. However, she somehow has a charm that makes her impossible to hate!
Since this was quite a new type of character for me, it was a fresh challenge, and I truly enjoyed bringing her to life. I also provided the harmony vocals for the in-film song “GOES ON”.

Last month, a new trailer featuring Kyotaro and Anna as well as in her band scene set to “GOES ON,” a track by Kana's band Primary COLOR was released.
The film is slated for theatrical release in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, Chile, Peru, additional Central American countries, and more. Details regarding ticket sales, release dates, and further territories will be shared later. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on February 13, 2026.

Kyotaro Ichikawa is a painfully awkward middle school boy deep in the throes of eighth-grader syndrome, spending his days obsessed reading morbid books like The Encyclopedia of Murder and anatomical diagrams.
His quiet, isolated world is suddenly turned upside down when Anna Yamada, the classroom star, unexpectedly steps into his life.
Whether she's casually eating rice balls in the library, humming to herself, or suddenly closing the distance between them, Yamada's unpredictable behavior leaves Ichikawa constantly off balance. And before he knows it, she is occupying his every day thoughts.
As they spend more time together, Yamada too begins to find herself drawn to Ichikawa in ways she never expected. It's the first time either of them has truly understood what it means to “like” someone.
Through misunderstandings and clumsy, heartfelt emotions, the distance between them slowly, but surely, begins to close.
