Main Trailer Released for 'Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1'

Sound! Euphonium is a highly acclaimed concert band anime series produced by Kyoto Animation. Since the first TV season began airing in April 2015, the series has expanded to three television seasons, along with five theatrical films, special editions, and spin-off features, celebrating its 10th anniversary last year. Now, with “Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1,” the beloved series reaches its grand conclusion.

Renowned for its beautifully vivid animation and powerful musical performances, the series has deeply moved audiences through its heartfelt portrayal of the Kitauji High School Concert Band as they strive relentlessly for the coveted National Gold Medal at competition.

The newly released main trailer showcases the Kitauji High School Concert Band as they commit themselves to their goal of winning Gold at the National Competition. A major highlight is the newly animated performance scene from the annual in-story marching band event, the “Sunrise Festival.” The trailer features the dignified presence of drum major Reina Kousaka and the full ensemble marching in perfect unison. Anticipation is also building around which piece this generation will perform.

Additionally, the trailer includes new footage of protagonist Kumiko Oumae as she takes on the great responsibility of becoming club president. It also features newly recorded voice lines from fan-favorite characters, former president Yuko Yoshikawa and vice president Natsuki Nakagawa.
