Meiko Morita, a high schooler from the countryside of Akita, has just landed the opportunity of a lifetime: a special transfer to the prestigious Amamiya Girls' Academy in Tokyo. But when she arrives in the big city, she discovers her "student dormitory" is actually Hedgehog, a bustling manga café!

Meiko must now live in a tiny, one-tatami room and work at the café as part of her daily duties. Surrounded by eccentric roommates—including a yuri-obsessed dorm head and a popular streamer who refuses to wear pants—Meiko's slightly strange, manga-filled Tokyo life is about to begin!
