The worst Satoshi Kon's work I've ever seen. This movie is visually attractive, but the story is weak and the villains are similar to ones of the Dusk zone from Pretty Cure, but less funny (note: any villain in this movie is gay). The policeman Kanakawa is a good character with an interesing, similar to Keiichi from Paranoia Agent. Don't take this as a sample of Kon's work, start from something like Perfect Blue instead.
It starts with rough character design and dull script, but it get better when characters relations evolves. Repetitive bath scenes, and a lot of well-known cliche. Apart from this, Miina-Maiku-Karen triad works well during narration. OST: A good opening theme by KOTOKO and a good ending.
