Really? Wow. Good to see Noitamina with still relatively strong ratings as well. I'm really enjoying both Kuragehime and Shiki. |

Considering Thhyon has been posting these extended TV rankings for at least a couple of months, and that I've yet to find an occasion where anything he's posted is wrong (for instance, he posted an advance top 10 of Conan beating One Piece a few days before it showed up here on ANN), I have no reason to doubt his sources, be they come from 2ch or some random blog.
Not to mention other than the jump Legend of Legendary Heroes got this week (from .4% to 1% for a show that starts at 2:15 am is pretty big, though since it's share it just might be the same amount of people watched it but others turned off their TV sets), I don't see anything really off with the data provided. |

Perhaps this brings us to the part of my theory where Thhyon is actually a member of ANN's staff under sheep's clothing who can't professionally reveal himself (or can, but would rather not) since it comes from unverified source and can't be proven accurate (which is believe is unprofessional in the world of journalism)? Just thinking... Anyway did Kuragehime and Shiki share the exact same rating on the same week? How come? |

Ever since Noitamina went to the two show format, they've always (as Thhyon has written at least), been together in ratings. I'd assume 2.8% is for Kuragehime as it's in the first slot. Shiki is likely lower.

The Noitamina block is consistently the highest rated "late night" show. I have been impressed with the performance of my favorite from this season, Otome Yōkai Zakuro. If you only look at first run late night shows, it is always in the top three or four. This week, it is number 2 to the Noitamina block. I will be interested to see what the DVD/BluRay sales look like when they start coming out...
Does anyone know if there is enough source material for Otome Yōkai Zakuro to make a second season? I know there are only 5 volumes of manga out now, but I have no idea how much of that manga is being covered by the current 13 episode season... |
