Seems kind of weird to have a power metal band performing the theme song to an anime about the life of Buddha, but whatever.

You haven't heard too much of X's material, then. Yoshiki has created beautiful ballads, with and without an electric guitar solo.

You mean on Sanspo? I wasn't able to find it there, just the article and a couple of pictures. I'd like to see it since I'm very curious about the anime and slightly curious about the song.
