Milky Holmes....I heard the first episode is so full of crap that J.C. Staff decided to play up the crappiness to "So Bad it's Good" status which fans ate it thus rising the popularity of this.

No, the Milky Holmes buzz has been genuinely positive. There's a lot of praise for the comedic timing and parody. Also, select episodes were handled by top notch animators and were popular with animation enthusiasts.

Heh... I'm an owner of four of those ten titles (not counting Toy Story 3, since I've got the US version of that one): K-On!!, Gundam UC (US case, but it's the same disc), Laputa, and Haruhi (no subtitles, dammit!). Admittedly, I didn't contribute to the weekly sales numbers of anything aside from K-On!!, since the other three titles have been out for more than a month...

Nanasaki Ai, agreed. That was the best girl...
Milky Holmes didn't exactly suck, but it was rather boring. Pretty generic in almost every aspect. I suppose you'd have to be a lolicon to fully appreciate it.

Why do you have to be a lolicon to enjoy it? I'm not a lolicon and I thought it was pretty hilarious. Its generic on purpose. Its a parody of moe and kaito. I'm pretty surprised that its actually doing this well. I know it was a sleeper hit but dang! Debuting at number 3 is pretty strong.
