I wish there was more information on what exactly is on this upcoming Blu-ray release.
I love Interstella 5555 and already own it on DVD, so I would need to have a rather compelling reason to double dip and upgrade to Blu-ray, such as important bonus features that aren't already on the DVD. |

Didn't expect a title like this to get a BD release. This is good news. Nice quality on a big screen with awesome music. I wonder what the release will be like. Good news nonetheless.

I hope the Blu-Ray version is in Widescreen. The DVD release was in 4:3 but I know it was cropped. If it's presented in 16:9, I'll upgrade.

The DVD was cropped? I had no idea. If it turns out the presentation on the Blu-ray is actually better, I may end up double dipping for the Blu-ray after all.

I canceled my preorder for the French BD and ordered the US disc from Amazon. The US release comes out a month later, but I can wait a bit since I do own this already on DVD.

Sweet, been a wile since I've re-watched Interstella 5555 so it will be great now that I can finally pick it up again and on blu ray.
