I just had a look at Shingo Araki's body of work in the Encyclopedia. He did a lot of anime but also he did some American work. He worked on "Inspector Gadget,""Heathcliff and the Cadillac Cats,"and was even the animation director on a film called "The Adventures of the American Rabbit." It's good that Toei did that for it's employee. I think Mr. Araki would have liked that.

Oh man, I remember all of those shows, that was an iconic part of my childhood right there. It's hard to think the older generation that captured and distilled so many classic children's works, which I could hardly imagine being produced today, are now passing away. What a loss.
