I've found this cover over the net! Is that meaning that someone is creating another GitS manga? Too bad I think this is a joke... .( |

That is most definitely fanart. I wouldn't doubt a manga for the TV series sometime in the future.
If they do make one, I hope it's not a direct copy of the show. |

Yeah. A Ghost in the Shell: SAC manga that has a different story than the anime would be awesome. I thought it was kind of dissapointing to see that there were only 2 Ghost in the Shell manga currently out.

Not necessarily an entirely new story (that would be okay, too), but maybe a story based of something in the show. It could involve a minor character as a major one, or a different main character all together.

In Italy, GitS 1.5 is already out (from Nov 2005).
A really good edition, with CD rom included and a rigid cover. I also think that the manga itself is better than GitS 2, it's more easy to read and it is drawn more like Masamune's older works. |

It's basically 4 chapter of material that was originally cut from GITS. Now they're releasing it....i guess you can say it's new material but nothing really new. |
