Hello all, I was wonder what's the best anime around? I have some Berserk and DBZ, and enjoy them alot. What else is similar to these kinds of anime?

If you want something like DBZ I suggest Bleach or Yu Yu Hakusho. Both are martial arts action shows though Bleach deals more with sword fighting and would be my favorite. They have good action, well told storylines, and the fights don't go on endlessly like DBZ.
For something simmiliar to Beserk I suggest Elfen Lied. When a psychotic female test subject, a human born with horns called a Diclonius which give her telekenitic abillities, makes her bloddy escape from a secret government lab she is shot. She washes up on shore, and is taken in by two college students. The shock to the head has caused to to develop multiple personalities, one the sweet and kind girl Nyu, named after the only thing she is able to say and the other the cold blooded killer Lucy with a grudge against humanity. Chalked full of extreme bloody violence and prolonged nudity this is no kids show, but it balances all that out with a fantastic storyline and a great cast of characters. |

You would also probably enjoy Naruto. It's basically about a 9 Tailed Fox demon that is sealed inside a child, and the story revolves around his many adventures. Basically, it's DBZ with ninjas. You have a lot of characters each with their own unique abilities, and the battles are always very interesting. It's never the "my power is greater than yours" or "my move beats your move" so much as it's all about deception (plus they're ninjas, so they do all the fun stuff ninjas do).

Well if your looking for action and violence my suggestion is gantz. This anime is on par with elfen lied,as it is very violent and bloody.However it is a good anime because it is well drawn,and has followable characters.

You said you wanted action so I'll have to say Trigun, Bleach, Neon Genesis. All of these have really good action scenes and big explsions just like DBZ.

Gungrave had good action and a really awesome mafia-ish story... until they whent back to the present and I lost interest. A lot of action though.
