For something that's been out nearly a month, those are awesome sales.

Which probably means the backorders have been filled and it's set to drop off the charts next week.

Its got another shipment coming in on January 30th, since Amazon still has a lot of backorders that haven't been shipped out yet. I still think it'll top 20k.

Looks like Amazon has started to take orders for GuP vol. 1 again after stopping for a few weeks to restock, and its now the #1 DVD/BD on the entire site... man this thing is a monster and just won't stop selling. Easily the biggest surprise hit in anime of the last few years.

Holy crap, you weren't kidding. Girls und Panzer vol. 1 is going to have a really, really, long tail. And now that the full Oricon list that we get is the top 100 BDs instead of top 30, it could be one of the longest we've seen.

Definitely my favorite series from fall, so I'm elated.

Gods, why are people buying Kami-sama Hajimeshita and not Tonari or Sukkitte? The worse of the shoujo is getting good sales. WTF?

I think the big thing is that the male character in it appeals far more to the female audiences than the other two. I've been seeing that dog guy all over Japanese blogs while nobody really seems to be talking about the other two.

Stalker currently has it at projected at 12k (9k BDs, 3k DVDs). Its doing a lot better than I woulda guessed before the season began... its gonna go on sale January 30th.

Holy God 13k?That should definitely secure second season,especially with a budget of 30 dollars.

Its also Akitaro Daiichi so there's some name recognition there. Of course, its no Bokura ga Ita or Tsukikage Ran. I wish there'd be more Tsukikage Ran. Very Happy

Sukitte was never in consideration for my Fall-series purchases, while I thought about the other two for a while. I ended up passing on them (Kami-sama Hajimemashita because I was disappointed in how it adapted some of the manga stories).

I only picked up Chunnnibyou and GuPanzer, and there's still a possibility to add Shin Sekai Yori to my Amazon cart.
