The Trocadero branch is notable as a high-profile closure. One hopes for the sake of the somewhat disimproved complex itself that a suitable replacement is found.

As is Princes Street in Edinburgh. Considering they're closing every other store in Edinburgh as well, one would think they'd at least keep the one on the main shopping street of the city open.

Yay! The one in my town isn't on the list Anime smallmouth I was talkin with a mate and she didn't seem fussed if it closed or not because she buys all her anime online, but I like looking at 'em all in store.

I used to live in Edinburgh, and it wasn't too long ago that they had an HMV, Game and Gamestation on Princes Street. I don't think there are any music, DVD or video game outlets left there now (well, you might find some DVDs in The Disney Store).

Sad to see the one in Londonderry is going. It was expensive, but it was the only shop here that sold anime (that I knew of, anyway). Looks like I'll be doing pretty much all of my shopping online from now on...
