It's a bootleg. It has fx listed as the studio. fx is a well known anime bootleg company.
12 DVDs for 95 episodes means that most of the DVDs have 8 episodes on them. I don't know of a single legit anime DVD that has that many 25 minute episodes on it - I know a few series like Slayers & Irresponsible Captain Tylor where they have 6-7 episode on the legit DVDs, but none that have 8. Plus there's the $65 price tag for nearly a hundred episodes of anime. No way in earth that this thing is legit (even cheap thinpack boxsets will cost you around $40-50 for 26 episodes). It is risky to buy from these companies on Amazon IMO. What i personally care for when I buy box sets is that the Box is the original box art, the dvd cases are the original, and the Dvd art is the same. As long as that is constant, I am fine. I considered buying from aaanime (the 2nd seller), so I sent him an e-mail to send me some screenshots of the set, but he has never answered. Buy at your own risk.
"this is not original so read be careful. thanks and have great day" Not exactly sure what that means, but also read their feedback, some claim its bootleg, some don't. Bootlegs don't look good on shelves ""Not quite the quality of video I was expecting, but nearly unbeatable for price, content, shipping speed, and seller competence, will definately buy from again if possible." That might be evidence that it is bootleg. |

Yep, considering there are no edited releases of Kenshin. |

Those bento box sets are pretty sweet. Terrible for shipping purposes, though. I wanted to loan RuroKen to a friend in another state, but I think I would rather burn copies for him and send generic DVD-Rs rather than try to ship open bento boxes with open disc sleeves inside.

Exaclty my local anime store still has a bento box for wander samurai and it's fairly good price but I still purchased the season 1 thin pack edition. I felt that my investment is better protected in the case instead of my dvd not being in any type of holder, other then a sleeve. Till next time, Delta Kiral |

Is the Economy set dvds the same as the Bento Box ones of the premium set? Or did they strip away extras and cram more episodes per disc?

Only diffrence is the packaging. Economy is a brick, Bento is a lot nicer. |

I believe there the same disc......the trailer have some really old Media blaster titles, so I assume that it's the same discs. Just to be sure the first season (Wandering Samurai) has 6 disc, and the second season (Kyoto) has 8 disc. If those are same amount as the bento I assume that they are the same then. Till next time, Delta Kiral |

Umm I wouldn't recommend buying that third collection, one reason it has nothing to do with the original manga that is so good. The Meiji Era (Third season) is basically all filler and it's so bad the series was cancelled, the filler were suppose to be so that manga could finish the revenge arc and then the anime was going to adapt that. However we won't ever get a faithful version of that... Till next time, Delta Kiral |

Ahh thanks again. That's right, I have never seen past the end of the kyoto arc. I was thinking that was the end for some reason
I'll have to buy them economy sets. The packaging isn't anything special but I could always pick up the 1st two boxes that DVD Paul makes. His are sweet looking and I've enjoyed the other boxes I've purchased from him. |

You were thinking that because many loyal RuroKen fans do consider the Kyoto arc the end of the series. It's actually pretty sad that, as DeltaKirai said, they cancelled the show because of the filler third arc and never adapted the manga's wonderful third arc. That's not entirely true, in that the Trust & Betrayal OVAs and the movie Reflection are (loosely) based on the material in the third manga arc, the Jinchu arc. You should definitely either pick those up, or buy the manga volumes, something like 18-28 (I don't have them in front of me, someone else can tell you the exact numbers). That way you'll get to see the real third arc. |
