I managed to get the Collector's Edition of Tales Of Xillia 2 from Groupon for 60 bucks. This makes me really happy. If anyone else is interested in the game, go there and get it today. Also to save on the tax, enter the code GOODS5. I am a sucker for Collector's Editions. I have a few of them where I have not even played the games that came with them yet.

been reluctant to ditch all of the art boxes, slipcovers and multiple case covers but it's long overdue.
Do I really need three fat ones for The Twelve Kingdoms? five individual blu-ray cases for FMA Brotherhood? and a couple more for the movies/ovas? seven for Gundam Unicorn? nine for Patlabor? it goes on and on and on. So the goal or ideal is an entire franchise into two mult-discs cases or less. If possible. Clearance sale is over, but Funimation's back up on TRSI, so I decided to fill in a few collection holes from shows I'd seen via other means:
A Certain Magical Index Season 2 DVD/Blu-ray Part 1 Cosplay Complex/My Dear Marie DVD Double Pack FLCL DVD Complete Series - Anime Classics Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt DVD/Blu-ray Complete - Anime Classics Str.A.In.: Strategic Armored Infantry DVD Box Set - S.A.V.E. Edition Yamada's First Time: B Gata H Kei DVD/Blu-ray Complete - S.A.V.E. Edition Started in on Index 2 after hearing that the "Certain" franchise was underperforming for Funi. Cosplay Complex/Dear Marie is the lone non-Funi outlier, but its counter was getting pretty low. I actually did have the original Synch-Point FLCL release at one point, but gave it away in anticipation of buying the Ultimate Edition and for some reason that didn't work out. Panty & Stocking DVD/BD combo with its excellent raunchy dub is actually selling for less than the DVD version, so why not? Strain -- not too bad if one can forgive the plot for interfering with the yuri fanservice. Heard a few eps of the Yamada's First Time dub awhile back, and it's easily hilarious enough to justify the dirt-cheap SAVE price. |

Was able to knock off one more of the buried treasures from my list of titles to check out in a physical format when I finally found and ordered a VHS copy of Nineteen 19.
Costs = about 1 hour of searching ¥ 1 for the Tape ¥ 1,234 Shipping charges and fees Grand total of USD $10.32 |
