Oh no they've got Gangasta, it won't be on Crunchyroll now, how am I supposed to watch it, you can't watch Funimation streams if you live outside of the US.

CR does have it for France and French Speaking Territories though. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/06/24/crunchyroll-to-stream-gangsta-anime-in-france-and-french-speaking-territories |

$18.95 for 3 month all-access pass on Funimation. That's not that bad. Plus that's enough time to see all these shows in full.

To the people who live outside North America and can't watch Funimation.com streams I can understand their frustration but for everyone else would Crunchyroll streaming a series you like for one season be preferable to other complications down the line for other fans? (or are you just a "me me me" person?)
If Crunchyroll has simulcast rights it implies either Sentai Filmworks has the home video rights license or Crunchyroll itself does... If you don't care about dubs, fine but a lot of fans do and it's not guaranteed to have one from those companies unless very popular and even if it does get a dub, it may not end up with a well done dub (FUNimation dubs aren't perfect either but their track record is a lot more successful) |

I never know how to feel about Funimation licensing new shows. On the one hand, an english dub is guaranteed which I'm a big fan of, but on the other hand their streaming video quality is garbage and unwatchable.

There are four that I wanted to watch on this list: Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, Gangsta., Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace and Junjou Romantica 3.
Unless Viewster picks some of these up or Crunchyroll somehow manages to get them for the UK I won't be able to watch any of them legally. |

I always find it weird when people say the Funi video player doesn't work for them, it never gives me problems, occasionally i get the green blotches for like the first 2 seconds when the video is still buffering and then it's fine.
The subtitles are fine, i never don't know what's happening. Wasn't there an answer man that said they only have a short period of time to translate and get the subs ready. I've never had a significant problem so I always think sometimes it's people just griping over little things.
Fairy Tail Next dub episodes start dropping in about a month (Late July/ August) A One Piece Brodcast Dub is a logistical Hell, it can't happen it's just impractical. Especially with the recent announcements of who's playing the supernovas. Mattew Mercer can't come to Texas every week for two years to play Law. In an Interview Mike Mcfarland and Joel McDonald (Past and Current ADR directors) both basically said just kill them now if One Piece has a broadcast dub, they would lose all free time and have a week to do a good episode, the One Piece dub doesn't deserve that. Probably at CR, since it is part of the Ultra Super Anime Time block, along with Miss Monochrome 2 and the third Wooser series (both of which are sequels to series CR simulcast). |

These announcements please me. Wish their Xbox 360 app was designed a bit better (where is my REAL queue dammit??). If they ever complete the Xbox One app, I will be in happy heaven. Id love to move from the 360 to the XBone completely.

They are opening up to their fujoshi and fudanshi fans. With Gangsta, while I haven'r even read the manga yet, I could see the female lead, Alex Benedetto, being dubbed by Caitlin Glass since she shared Noto's Freezing and School Rumble characters. |

It could be that Funi got the streaming rights only and a big MAYBE that Right Stuf/Nozomi will get the dvd/bluray rights Mary |

Meh. Dragon Ball Super or bust, for me. If Toei really doesn't allow it to be Simulcasted, that will be really sad.
However, I'm not too fond of the idea of having to pay for FUNimation on top of CR should the event that Super gets simulcasted only by FUNimation occur. Although I *do* prefer watching One Piece through FUNimation. I don't know if it was just me, but their HD looked a little better. |

Clearly because $14 per month is waayyyy too much to spend on anime!
Hey, sometimes that's exactly what a person needs. Though I seem to be in the same boat most of the time. Funi usually picks up maybe 3-5 shows per season that I want to watch, Crunchyroll ends up with the other 15-20. I'm definitely not complaining. CR's service works significantly better for me anyway. |
