I'm tempted to watch this for those adorable character designs... but, I'm about 90% sure it's going to be awful. I'm torn... :/

There is a similar character in the show Elementary, a brilliant mathematician who removes his shirt when he works as he feels closer to the equations by doing so, but he at least stops there. |

That's not true. I'm "90% sure" that it won't be good. 
Anyway, I wouldn't have posted here if I wasn't, at least mildly, interested in the show. I'll give it a shot, as I normally do. I just firmly believe that low expectations make everything better.
