This headline reminds me of Yuri Kuma Arashi. The Akita Inu and Hokkaido Inu breeds were bred to hunt bear.

This and Hunter x Hunter's localization has been a real treat for me. I remember reading this months ago, thinking how charming the manga is, left to only daydream what it'd be like getting an anime - it seemed so lacking in popularity, and the translators eventually just stopped working on it.
Now I'm getting the writer of my two favorite slice of life adaptations of the decade on this project, a promising episode director turned head director, and Mental Choice's character designer on this stuff? It's like the anime gods are trying to make my day or something. I'm probably the only one who really liked this manga, but I'm exceptionally happy about today's general announcements. |
