The Encyclopedia entry for D.Gray-man says that there are 52 episodes but it shows that there are 64 titles. I was under the impression that it would end at episode 52. Also, when I clicked on the episode titles it shows dates for episodes 53 through 64 but no titles.
This leads me to think that someone is potentially spamming the title list and will possibly lead to adding faux titles as has happened with Naruto in the past. Although if it is in fact going to have more episodes that is probably good news for D.Gray-man fans. I've never seen the show but it looks like it may be worth watching, which is why I was looking into it. |

I just checked the source provided by the submitter. It was indeed strange: an extra of up to 13 episodes have been scheduled by various broadcasters (BS Japan, TV Tokyo, and Hiroshima Home TV). I checked several official sites and Japanese Wikipedia but found no relevant information; right now we can only wait and check those sites periodically for updates.

I didn't know about the source provided but I should've mentioned (and linked) that I did check many of the official Japanese sites (with the aide of a translation site, granted, so it may not have made a difference anyway), but I couldn't find any proof of episodes beyond 52. I apologize, I probably could have saved you at least a few clicks.
If anything it seems episode 52 is airing in just a few days, so by then it should be certain. |

Looking at the source link... I would say that the submitter is in good faith. It looks very strange, but there is definitely cause to assume that they will be airing supplementary episodes beyond #52.
