Maybe now funimation will dub and release the movie with a new anime in the works.

Well this a surprise. I recently watched the first season and thought it was alright. Still debating on whether or not to get the second season.

I wonder if Funi will pick this up seeing as how they didn't get the movie.

Only interested if they focus the entire new series on #bestgurl Kurumi. She's the only one that can carry the empty plot of the series!

Kadokawa, I appreciate you making sequels for the fans of this series, but man, can you at least give us another season of Haruhi first, before I get tempted to binge a series I know nothing about just so I can get into a conversation I may not care about. Priorites are important, man, PRIORITIES!

Typical Japan greenlighting sequels for this kind of shows...
I'm still amazed I finished five episodes in the first season before dropping it years ago.

Well, fanservice anime usually sells pretty well.
Also, they don't require a lot work to make.
Oh, and also moe girls.

But, I actually like this series.
It's one of the few harem show that's actually pretty enjoyable. (for me, atleast)
If you know what to expect that is.

I am so happy right now!

Rewatching this series right now. Love the story, characters, and animation. Can't wait to watch more.

Now if Funimation could get the rights to the movie and release it on Blu-ray.

Different circumstances? Kadokawa won't make Haruhi season 3 since there are no new Haruhi novels being released to promote, that means that they have no incentive to make season 3. Not to mention, the franchise these days won't guarantee them sales anymore (see the disappointing sales of "Disappearance of Nagato Yuki"). Also, I don't think KyoAni will still be available to work for Haruhi season 3 if that's the case.

Can't remember if I finished season 2 but this series was nice to watch (dubbed) so a season 3 isn't the worse thing in the world.

Well, shit. I certainly wasn’t expecting this, as I didn’t think it would happen at this point in time. If it’s a season 3, I may feel motivated enough to go back and finish this series as I enjoyed what I watched, but didn’t get very far in it due to life for me at the time.

I'll watch this. But I'd be a lot more excited if the novels were released officially...
