Well well..look at what came back from the land of the dead and just in time for Halloween too. Haha loved this show. was one of the first series i ever gotten into.

Maybe this time around they will translate the series title as Monstrous Princess (to officially get into the monster girl train). I wish the original series had a second season, the best material (Nakua) came later on. Maybe in the meantime Riza has trained and now has a six pack Very Happy

This one of those manga that felt like at that moment in time the author ran out of ideas and the last chapter was a nice resting stop instead of some kind of grand finale. I wish also Franken Fran was restarted and became an anime.

If I remember correctly the original series was shown in a daytime slot (that is why they changed Hime's blood for a magical flame), I wonder if this new manga also gets an anime for what timeslot will they prepare it.

Given the exteme body horror/ gore/ all the other grotesque content in FrankenFran, there would have to be seriously heavy censoring to just to air. I'd love a FrankenFran anime, but considering the content and the legnth of since the series ended and anime is not doable.

Remember that a series like Parasyte, a lot more grotesque and that was finished decades ago also got an anime, so there still is hope! Very Happy

An anime adaptation people took issue with for not looking gritty enough and removing a scene that wasn't remotely close to being important

I dont know I think Franken Fran is up there, I think the happy go lucky main lead just glosses over how horrible the story is for those involved.

Although I think if they can animate Shadow Star Naru taru, then they can pretty much animate anything.
